What happens when people and AI make decisions together?

Ville Satopaa challenges the simple narrative that artificial intelligence should either replace human judgement or merely serve as a tool. Instead, his research explores how humans and AI can be combined to strengthen overall decision-making.

He holds a PhD in Statistics from the Wharton School and conducts research in areas including collective intelligence, forecasting, data analytics and AI. At INSEAD, he teaches across MBA, PhD and executive programmes, and his research has earned him a place on the Thinkers50 Radar list of emerging management thinkers.

On the Executive Management Programme, Ville gives participants new perspectives on how AI can be integrated into organisational decision-making – and, importantly, where human judgement remains essential.
