How do you bring people with you when strategy needs to be translated into action?

This is a central question in Svenja Weber’s teaching. With a background as both a clinical psychologist and a business leader, she combines deep insight into human behaviour with practical experience from organisations undergoing change.

At INSEAD, she leads several of the school’s leadership programmes, including Leading for Results, and works closely with global companies on leadership development and large-scale transformation processes. She has a particular focus on the transitions and challenges senior leaders face as their own roles, and the organisations around them, evolve.

Svenja works from a systems psychodynamic perspective, exploring how individuals, groups and organisations continuously influence one another. This gives participants a sharper understanding of the often invisible dynamics that can determine whether a strategy actually leads to the intended change.
