Line Berg Madsen advises on legal ESG issues, due diligence, responsible investment and business regulation where compliance or sustainability plays a role.
Having assisted numerous private equity funds, other investors, industrial companies and financial institutions, Line is an experienced and highly valued advisor. Over the years, Line has gained extensive knowledge of ESG and sustainability. With increasing regulation and greater stakeholder focus on ESG, she has increasingly worked on matters relating to due diligence, responsible investment, sustainable finance and EU sustainability legislation.
She advises clients on compliance and ESG issues, often with ESG as a value-creating and strategic factor in addition to the regulatory and compliance aspects. Line has particular experience in ESG management and reporting, from implementing policies and processes in business operations to due diligence and risk assessments for investments and transactions.
As part of Line’s work with sustainability, she sits on the board of WWF Denmark and on the Børsen Sustainability Advisory Board.
