Enrico Diecidue

Professor of Decision Sciences, INSEAD
Enrico Diecidue is a professor of decision sciences at INSEAD. He holds a PhD in economics and has extensive experience advising top executives and boards on complex decision-making processes.

In the Executive Board Programme, he focuses on how boards make decisions under pressure and high uncertainty. In a rapidly changing world, board members often have to rely on intuition rather than hard data. Unfortunately, this can lead to unconscious errors in judgment, also known as biases. Enrico provides a deep understanding of these psychological pitfalls and demonstrates how to strengthen one’s own judgment.

In addition, he explores collective decision-making within boards. Is a group always wiser than an individual member? It entirely depends on the process the board follows. Through practical exercises, he shows how to establish clear structures and processes that minimize errors and ensure the very best strategic decisions for the company.
