Executive Management Programme INSEAD is an international leadership education for executives and Senior Management in coorporation with INSEAD.

Executive Management Programme at INSEAD equips you to create unique competitive advantages for your private or public organization. You will follow in the footsteps of over 1,300 other top executives who have participated since 2007 to achieve solid results and exciting career trajectories.

In a concentrated course of three modules, one in Denmark and two at INSEAD in France, you will be presented with the latest knowledge and the best models and tools from internationally recognized professors and leading experts.

The program gives you new approaches to working with strategy, innovation and leadership. There is a particular focus on understanding how significant trends such as technology and digital business models as well as sustainability are changing the rules and opportunities in many industries.

You’ll be able to make and implement the decisions that can put you one step ahead of the competition, or perhaps you’ll devise completely new and unique business models together with your fellow students.

Developed by the Scandinavian Executive Institute and implemented and refined in collaboration with INSEAD since 2010, the program provides current and indispensable knowledge that connects strategic perspective and an operational context at a high professional level.

Participant profile

The Executive Management Program is aimed at experienced senior executives at board level. Typical job titles are CEO, CFO, COO, VP, Head of Business Development and heads of independent organizational units and business areas. However, you can also work as an advisor at a similar level.

The average age is 46 years, and the age is fairly evenly distributed between 38 and 55 years.

You will meet other attendees who are curious and eager to be inspired to rethink themselves and their business, gain strategic clarity and strengthen their leadership and career. Strong contacts are made and the network remains strong for years to come.

Classes are taught in English.

Professor of Strategy Programme Director
Andrew Shipilov is a Professor of Strategy and Akzo Nobel Fellow of Strategic Management at INSEAD. He is an expert in strategy, innovation, and networks, with his current research focusing on how social networks, strategic alliances, and partnerships impact firms’ competitive advantages.

FAQ

Before choosing an education, there are of course many questions. How does the teaching take place, who can help me with which questions and will I receive a training certificate after completing the training? These may be some of the questions you would like answers to. In our FAQ, we have collected some of the most common questions that might help you on your way. No, no exams will be held on some of our four programs, but there will be both individual assignments and group assignments along the way.

However, after completing the program, all participants receive a certificate from the Scandinavian Executive Institute and INSEAD.

Yes, after completing your program, all participants will receive a certificate from the Scandinavian Executive Institute and IMD or INSEAD.

The number of participants varies for each program, but will normally be between 20 and 40 participants.
