The Executive Board Program INSEAD is our flagship course in corporate governance and is a unique educational experience. The programme is designed for chairs and non-executive directors of listed and private corporations, government agencies and organisations, and non-profits. It is also aimed at CEOs, COOs, CFOs and other C-suite executives, as well as family members and controlling shareholders of boards of family companies.

The board programme offers practical and tested frameworks and tools to sharpen judgment and decision-making skills. It also augments the oversight abilities of directors seeking to boost their existing competencies or to be better prepared for new board mandates. In two focused modules, you will master strategies for the following fundamental areas: board effectiveness and dynamics; board decision-making and oversight; and director effectiveness and development.

ADVANCED BOARD PROGRAMME INSEAD

The Advanced Board Programme is an advanced governance course which requires certain level of experience and maturity, it is designed for chairs and directors of listed and private corporations, government agencies and organisations, and non-profits. Experience of an independent director is a prerequisite for this course. Graduates from Executive Board Programme are exempt from this requirement

LEADING STRATEGIC CHANGE

The Leading Strategic Change programme provides the insights and tools to bridge the difficult gap between the rational development of strategy and real-life execution. It helps to identify hidden traps, balance the rational with the emotional and build the internal capability to continue implementing strategy successfully.

The programme is designed to benefit these key groups: managers who are new to implementing strategy; those moving into a more challenging implementation role; or executives simply looking for new ideas to try where others have failed.

The typical participant is:

• Executives with accountability for outcome and direct control of significant resources (budgets and groups of people)
• General Manager who head business units, e.g. country managers, or product or division head

LEADERSHIP ACCELERATION PROGRAMME IMD

Leadership Acceleration Program IMD is designed for managers who have some years of experience and have ambitions and potential to develop their managerial role. The program strengthens your competencies within strategy, leadership, execution and digitization, and thus provides a breeding ground for extensive professional and personal development.

The programme is designed for managers with at least three years’ experience in leadership roles. The programme welcomes participants from all functions and units within all kinds of companies, and will benefit a range of candidates – from high-potentials to experienced technical specialists who have come to leadership positions late in their careers.

Executive Forum is the Scandinavian Executive Institute’s exclusive learning forum for Scandinavian leaders and board members who want to focus on and develop their managerial and strategic knowledge.

As a participant in the Executive Forum, you get a unique opportunity to improve your skills in relation to specific and current themes. The Executive Forum consists of a series of annual masterclasses, in which experienced professors from INSEAD and IMD review current topics that are important to the world in which our companies and organizations operate.
